Naveed Gilani

Naveed Gilani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and business management. He holds an M.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA (1981), and a B.S.M.E. (Honors) from the University of Peshawar. He has exceptional leadership experience in diverse cultural and geographical environments – USA, China, Pakistan, UAE, that has brought breadth, depth, and strength to his professional and personal experience. He is currently serving as the Chief Executive of ENSHAANLC Developments (Pvt) Ltd., a real estate development company. Earlier in his career, he has also played a pivotal role as Head of Commercial (Supply Chain), HR, and IT at Greenstar.

His academic contributions include publishing papers in the renowned journal Organizational Behaviour and Human Performance. He has published articles of general interest in Daily DAWN, the leading English language paper in Pakistan. He also writes a personal blog on http://naveedgilani.com/

Alongside his professional role, Naveed has been very active in the not-for-profit social sector. He has been a member of the board and the management of Karigar Training Institute, a skill development organization for the underprivileged. He was also a member of the executive committee of ACELP (Association of Children with Learning Problems). In 2020, he founded the Fortify Education Foundation (FEF) to provide school meals to disadvantaged children in the Orangi area. The organization is steadily adding more schools, predominantly government-run schools, to its program. The mission is to spread the meal program throughout Pakistan.
