James E. Malster

James E. Malster has over twenty years of combined experience in international development and international affairs, expertise in project management, program design, implementation and evaluation, donor relations, fundraising, capacity building and mentoring, strategic planning, monitoring and financial management.

He has been working with Population Services International since 2001 and currently serving as Chief of Party, “Promoting Healthy Behaviors Activity in Cambodia”, where he is responsible for all aspects related to implementing Promoting Healthy Behaviors (PHB) Activity, a five-year, social and behavior change project covering a multitude of health areas including family planning, maternal and child health, nutrition, tuberculosis, water and sanitation, and malaria.

Previously he has also been a part of other well-known NGOs such as Save the Children as a Consultant (Kathmandu, Nepal), Community and Child Health Project (USAID) as a Contract and Logistics Supervisor (La Paz, Bolivia) and United States Information Agency (USIA) as an Assistant Information Officer and Cultural Attaché (La Paz, Bolivia).
