Tabassum Shakir

Tabassum Shakir is a seasoned finance leader with over 20 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and corporate governance across the private and social development sectors. She is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA, UK) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ACA). She also holds a certification in Sustainable and Climate Risk from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), reflecting her commitment to integrating emerging risk and sustainability considerations into financial strategy.

Since 2015, she has been serving as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan (Guarantee) Limited, where she leads the organization’s financial stewardship and governance functions. In this role, she oversees financial operations, strengthens fiscal discipline, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports mission-driven organizational growth through strategic financial planning and oversight.

Her leadership portfolio spans financial reporting, risk management, budgeting, internal controls, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring strong alignment between financial strategy and programmatic impact. She has consistently demonstrated analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and a strong commitment to transparency and ethical financial practices.
