Dr. Sanam Gul

Dr. Sanam Gul is a seasoned public health expert with over 18 years of experience in Pakistan’s social and development sectors. Her expertise spans maternal and child health, women’s economic empowerment, psychosocial rehabilitation, including pioneering initiatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, climate resilience, program and donor management, and advocacy for public–private partnerships.

At Greenstar Social Marketing, Dr. Gul leads strategic, high-impact initiatives focused on strengthening women’s health through integrated public and private healthcare systems, promoting economic inclusion, and expanding access to essential services for last-mile communities. Under her leadership, Greenstar has expanded access to innovative service delivery solutions, including telehealth interventions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Dr. Gul has led large-scale operations supported by major development partners such as USAID, KfW, UNICEF, and MIEL International across some of Pakistan’s most underserved and complex contexts, including the Newly Merged Districts (formerly FATA), Frontier Regions (FRs), and Partially Administered Tribal Areas (PATA), often working in security-constrained environments. Her strong engagement with government stakeholders and trusted community relationships has been instrumental in ensuring program effectiveness and sustainability.
