Kunwar Saleem Ahmed

Kunwar Saleem Ahmed is a senior supply chain and operations professional with over 32 years of experience in the social development sector, bringing extensive leadership expertise across marketing, program development, operations, and supply chain management.
He holds a BSc (Hons) and an MSc from the University of Karachi (1986), and later completed his MBA (1999–2000), strengthening his strategic and managerial capabilities in organizational operations and procurement systems.

Before joining Greenstar Social Marketing, Mr. Ahmed worked with the Cotton Export Corporation of Pakistan, where he played a key role in nationwide procurement of raw cotton for export. He also contributed to multiple UNDP – FAO-supported initiatives aimed at improving Pakistan’s agricultural commodities, particularly enhancing the quality standards of raw cotton. He holds UNDP – FAO–recognized certification in international Cotton Quality Arbitration.

Associated with Greenstar Social Marketing for over 31 years, Mr. Ahmed currently leads the organization’s Supply Chain and Procurement functions. In this role, he oversees strategic sourcing, logistics operations, and procurement systems that support nationwide program implementation and ensure the efficient availability of essential health commodities across diverse and hard-to-reach geographies.
