Shahma Zahid

Shahma Zahid is a seasoned HR leader with over 25 years of experience across manufacturing, banking, microfinance, construction, retail, healthcare, and the non-profit sector. She has held senior leadership roles with organizations including Gul Ahmed Textiles, HBL, The First MicroFinanceBank, ICAP, SSGC, Ingersoll Rand Canada, and Retail Solutions UAE.

Having worked across Canada, the UAE, and Pakistan, she brings global HR expertise in talent acquisition, organizational development, policy design, employee engagement, global mobility, and cross-cultural leadership.

Shahma holds an MBA from IoBM Karachi and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from York University, Canada. She is certified as SHRM-SCP and GPHR by SHRM and HRCI, USA.

She serves on the Advisory Board of Future Edge Consulting, a digital consulting and training organization, and is currently mentoring two CHRO-level professionals from Mongolia and Uzbekistan. She also continues to contribute to the global HR profession through her volunteer engagement with HRCI,USA and SHRM, USA, bringing a strategic, people-centered, and globally informed approach to organizational growth and transformation.
