Tahira Raza

Tahira Raza is a banker with a professional qualification of MBA in Banking and Finance from IBA Karachi. She also secured 7th Position in Pakistan with Distinction in Practice & Law of Banking in 1980. She gained her expertise in Proven Corporate Governance, Leadership and Project Management skills, in depth expertise in Risk, Credit, Human Resource Management, Audit, Trade, finance and General Banking.

One of her biggest achievement is being a President and CEO of First Women Bank in Pakistan in 2014. Prior to that she has been the first female banker elevated to the level of Senior Executive Vice President and Head Risk Management Group in National Bank of Pakistan (NBP). She was awarded with Women Banker of the year award from the FPCCI in 2006.

She is a trustee of Senior Citizen Welfare Trust Sindh (SCWTS), member of Karachi Council on Foreign Relations (KCFR), director on the Board of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Freelance Supporter for Promotion of SME & Women Empowerment.
