Core Job Responsibilities:
This position holder will be required to build and maintain excellent relationships with the Public sector stakeholders, especially with the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, IRMNCH & Nutrition Program, Punjab Healthcare Commission and Population Welfare Department Punjab. The District Coordinator will be required to represent the organization and the project at various platforms at district level. He/ She will be completely responsible for the project implementation in the assigned district. He/ She will also be required to ensure inter and intra departmental coordination and collaboration within the organization, carrying out team building exercises, ensuring targets achievement, execution of detailed implementation plan, monitoring the progress and ensuring timely submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- To lead the district team in achieving the project objectives
- Ensure smooth operations of the project in the province by developing close liaison with public sector stakeholders
- Identification of Service providers and sites for establishment of project clinics as per the given criteria
- Ensuring proper documentation and validation of all documents related to the selected service providers and land ownership
- Monitor onsite construction of clinics as per the approved BoQ and maps
- Conduct monthly meetings with relevant stake holders in the province/districts and share project updates
- To ensure close liaison with service providers and communities, build rapport with them and rectify their grievances if any
- Ensure the preparations for trainings and events
- Participate in monthly DTC and DCC meetings in the project district
- Develop project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Manage day to day operational needs of the project
- Represent the project at external meetings and other coordination meetings as necessary
- Provide training and guidance to project teams
- Project documentation as detailed by project protocols
- Ensure that documentation and other project information is correctly entered into the appropriate spreadsheet or database
- To ensure timely submission of time sheets and work plans of the field teams
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to track the activities and submit visit reports to the supervisor
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with the field team(s) for progress updates
- Keep track of lessons learned and share it with the management
- To maintain updated data on regular basis for all the key components of the project
- To prepare monthly analysis, narrative reports & presentations and share with supervisor regularly
- To ensure proper and systematic record keeping at district level in soft and hard form
- To ensure timely submission of personal and office expenses. Review, keep record and submit to Provincial Coordinator in due time
- To ensure proper record keeping at service provider level and by field teams
- To ensure timely supplies of medicine, commodities, and other required supplies for Clinics/service providers
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Job Specification:
Education: Preferably Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Public health/Social Sciences
- Management or relevant discipline
Experience (Min – Max): 3 – 5 Years’ experience with National/International development organizations. Preferably in Health Sector.
Knowledge: Reproductive Health, Mother and Child Health.
Managerial / Leadership Skills:
