Core Job Responsibilities:
Driving the dynamic implementation of TB project initiatives within the designated district.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Screen all beneficiaries attending different OPDs of the hospital using the TB screening tool.
· Ensure that all identified presumptive cases reach the designated Doctor and pass-through screening tools.
· Subsequent follow-up of presumptive on phone calls until they become symptom-free or are registered as TB cases by the doctor.
· Liaison with HIV trained paramedics, X-pert, and X-ray technicians.
· Coordination with riders and counselors for quick issuance of X-pert reports and contact screening respectively.
· Real-time entries and validation of DHIS2 data.
· Sustained contact with the assigned number of private providers, Specialists, local AFB lab & pharmacy for case registration. Ensure referral/linkage of TB presumptive cases identified by Pharmacies & informal providers to GPs.
· Conduct key project activities namely chest camps, area notable meetings, monthly inception meeting, and quarterly review meeting for validation as per assigned targets, if provided.
· Coordination with the District Field Supervisor for the uninterrupted supply of ATT drugs, IEC material, and R&R tools to the private providers and lab supplies to private labs. Ensure timely delivery of the same and generate “supply shortage alerts” by informing DFS/regional Coordinator.
· Compliance and implementation of National guidelines for TB treatment and Project Operational guidelines.
· Physical verification of patients, labs, and doctors and data where applicable for effective implementation of the program. Maintain the updated records (R&R tools) at all levels.
· Counsel and motivate patients and families regarding treatment adherence and disease infection prevention, respectively.
· Responsible for Contact screening of the registered patients to identify nearby TB cases and contacts for TB preventive therapy.
· Quick response to providers’ concerns regarding TB patients and available facilities.
· Ensure that data and records are completed on time, accurate, and verified at all levels; support the DFS in data management and reporting.
· Coordination with DFS for Rifampicin Resistance (RR) cases registration at the PMDT site.
· Responsible for follow-up of the lost-to-follow-up and not evaluated TB patients and re- linkage to treatment.
· Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

· Facilitate and organize monitoring visits involving RC/Program unit/PR team.
External:
· Foster and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and laboratories.
Key Success Factors of Position:
Ensure adherence to both National guidelines and operational guidelines/SOPs for project implementation.
Job Specification:
Education: FA/F.Sc or Preferably Graduation.
Experience (Min-Max): Previous experience in community-related work, preferably within TB projects, is desirable.
Knowledge: Strong proficiency in regional languages and familiarity with local territories.
Conveyance: Must have their own conveyance.
